I live in small city in Southern Oregon. We have some gang activity (Nortenos, Surenos, and few others) but those gangs have been around for decades! Mostly American gangs. The cartels are foreign and we have those here too but mostly are out in the country or out of city limits and you don't see them much at all. Yes there's been several drug related homicides too. It's not good. People are weak and unfortunately law enforcement are weak in some areas too. Or they have their hands tied etc. This is not meant to be an insult to LE as most are good people and most have the courage to protect. Here's the thing. Because of current social dynamics, politics, media garbage etc, people in society are gaslit to the max. Look at the bullshit about people being guilty and racist just because they're born white, white privilege and white guilt. They are being prosecuted for things allegedly that maybe their great grandpa may or may not have done over 100 years ago! You're a guilty, racist, terrorist if you have constitutional and christian beliefs. Defund the police bullshit in the past few years, cops accused of being racist when they do their job, military conservatives being treated like that too. Isn't it apparent the brain washing here? Making people weaker in their will and heart using guilt trip and gas lighting tactics. Oh and if you stand up they will threaten you with being a terrorists or cancel you etc. All this will make people docile, scared to do anything, passive, dumb, weak, demoralized, thus making them perfect victims. And liberal states like Colorado that is not doing shit to protect themselves against a foreign invader, transnational criminal, enemy combatant pretty much explains everything I'm saying. This sort of psychological abuse can take a long time to heal from that is if it ever even gets reversed at this point. Think about this when prepping to deal with people for several years to come. Oh and if you protect yourself you might be the one going to jail these days too!

Aurora has been bad for a while now. Last summer, I stopped for supplies before going into the mountains. It was a normal stop for me, which I have done every couple years. But this last time, it was like a different country. Trash all over, no English, no white people.
